Wow It's Been Awhile

I can't believe it's been that long!!! My life has been pretty busy but I had some free time today so I thought I'd finally write in my blog. Let's see, I left off at "Movie Night". Well we have been having movie nights ever since Brianna's house. Each Highschool AWANA leader (That includes myself, Tenaya Sonderland/Johnson, Brianna Wolters, Mark Casner, Katie Cantwell, Trent Ewert and we also have KC Butterfield and TJ Sloan who are not AWANA leaders but have joined the group anyway.) takes a turn hosting a movie night and we either bring movies or already have something planned. We actually just had one at my friend Mark's house. We watched the Matrix since i had never seen it before. It was good but a little disturbing. AWANA is almost over. We are having our award ceremony this Wednesday.
AIM was amazing last summer! I made 22 new friends and I am proud to say that we have been keeping in contact through most of this year! This summer I am going to AIM 3 and unlike last year, am going with people I know. Eric says that he has some exciting things planned for us this year so I am definitely excited!
Yesterday, I graduated Confirmation Class. We had a big graduation lunch and such. TJ, KC, Kyle
, Marisha and I became members of the church. (I just made it cause I knew how to spell "Jesus": ). We took some very very funny pictures of ourselves, as you can see...... also the picture at the top is of our Confirmation Group.
Right, well best be going!

Fun Movie Night

I had so much fun last night! Me and a bunch of friends got together and watched movies (hence the name movie night). We only watched two movies, but both of them I've never seen before. First we watched Xmen (the first one) and then we watched Monte python ( i'm not sure i spelled that right). We had an awesome time at Brianna's house. So yah that is what is new with me.

Mexico Mission Trip

The Mexico Mission Trip was such a Life Changing experience! I worked on the VBS team and got to hang out with kids all day. I have to say, I was a little disappointed when I heard that I wasn't going to build. (I had spent the day before practicing how to hammer nails.) When I got there, I soon found that the VBS team was the best team to be on.
I have so many stories to tell. (don't worry I won't keep you here all day). There was this little girl name Jacqueline, who was about 5-6, She would just talk and talk. I had no idea what she was saying, but that didn't matter. She was so animated when she talked. She finally started asking me questions and then I had to try and tell her that I didn't speak Spanish. She just thought I couldn't hear her, so she spoke louder. I thought that was the cutest thing!
You can ask me questions about it and I will try and answer them. I just got back, so I can't remember everything. Stuff is still coming back to me!
I have to say, when I went down to Mexico, I thought we were just going down to build houses. They say that the house is just an excuse. I didn't understand that phrase until the middle of the week. I went and visited some of the other sites, and to my amazement, half the crew was working on the house. The other half was playing around with the kids of that neighborhood! So now I know that when we went down, we went down to hang-out with the people of Mexico. Not to build houses.(I mean we still built, but building wasn't the only thing we were there to do.)
Like I said before, Mexico was a life changing experience!

Hello Paradise!

OK, so most of you probably know that my family and I are going on a cruise to Mexico. We leave the day after tomorrow! I'm soooo excited. It is my first cruise and hopefully not the last! We are going for a week and are going with Carnival. Their is a club just for teens and no parents are allowed. Did I mention I was excited? Anyway we are hoping to have a blast (I think we will). So if you read my Mom's blog she told you to ask me about what my brother got me. Scott and my Dad put flooring in my secret room. It is so cool. It is a little cold up there right now but it will be fun to visit in the spring and fall time (not summer. It is way too hot!). So that is what Scott gave me for my 15th B - day (which by the way was over a month ago.).
